Multiplayer Easter Eggs

  • Nuketown secret song: “Sympathy For The Devil” by The Rolling Stones will play on the “Nuketown” map if you shoot all of the mannequins heads off in 15 seconds
  • Nuketown Dooms day clock: If you go into spectator mode on “Nuketown”, you can find a Doomsday clock which shows how long the match has left.
  • Nuketown Population: Outside of the Green on “Nuketown,” you will find a sign that says “Welcome to Nuketown! Population _.” This is actually of counter of how many people are in your match, so if there is 5 people it will say Population 5.
  • Nuketown Mailboxes: If you look at the mailboxes outside of both the main houses on Nuketown, you will notice that the names on them are “Mason” and “Woods.” These are two main characters in the campaign.
  • Nuketown and Indiana Jones: .The entire map is a reference to Indiana Jones: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. In the beginning of the movie, he visits a town like Nuketown . If you visit the outside of the map, you will see army trucks similar to ones in the movie. And a fridge in one of the houses.
  • Nuketown Book Club: In Nuketown, you will find a book written by Richtofen on the top floor of the yellow house. go to the bookshelf and you will notice that on the right side, books are hidden behind glass. Destroy the glass and you will see a little white book. You will then notice it says Edward Richtofen on it, which is a character from the zombie game.2.Go to the top floor of the yellow house
  • Double Rainbow all the Way Across Nuketown: In Nuketown, if you look up in the sky you will notice a double rainbow. You may also notice asking yourself “What does it mean?!”

Kino Der Toten

Secret Song

  • To activate the song, you must find 3 meteors. Press “Action on the meteors to activate them and you should hear a sound to let you know it worked The first one will be in the room you start in on the first floor in the corner of the right staircase and will be on a stand with a glass case covering it. The second one will be found in the room between the stage and the ally on a bookshelf, and the third one is in the dressing room near the mp5k it will be on a stand like the first one, but without a glass case. The secret song is “115″ by Elena Siegman.

Film Reels

You can also find 3 film reels which are hidden in the rooms you teleport to after accessing the pack-a-punch.
    • In Samantha’s Room: On the table, bed, or leaning on the rocking chair.
    • Zombie Samantha’s Room: On the bed, leaning on the turned-over table, or by the window.
    • The Dentist’s Office: On the cart next to the chair or on one of the counters.
    • The Conference Room: On the T.V., under the projector, or on the table located in front of where you are standing.
      • Click [action button] to pick up the film reel when you see it. Then the next time you teleport with the film reel you can click [action button] on the projector to play it.

Radios

There are supposedly three hidden radios, but only two have been found (we spent countless hours trying to locate the third one but no luck).
  • One is located in the chandelier that hangs in the theatre
  • The other is located in the top of a tower visible through a barricade in the Alley
  • We are really not sure if the third one exists, but if we find it we will give you its location as well.
To listen to the radios, shoot them with any gun or explosive and they will play.

Five

Secret Song

To activate the song in Five, you must find the 3 red phones in the pentagon. You will know you are near them because they ring and flash. When you find a phone, press “action” to use it and once you do that, you should hear a busy tone. The phones are located in 3 different areas
  • To the left of Quick Revive in the start area.
  • In the pack-a-punch room on the left. It will be on a table. (You must unlock the pack-a-punch room for this one)
  • In the basement right beside the power switch on a shelf.
  • After you find all three phones, you will hear the secret song which is “Don’t Back Down” by Eminem.

Ascension (First Strike DLC)

Secret Song

To activate the song in ascension, you will need to find three teddy bears that will be holding a sickle. Press “Action” on the teddy bear to activate it and you will hear a sound letting you know it worked.
  • The first one is located in the starting room. It will be on the top floor in the corner opposite of the door leading out of the first room on a barrel (to the left of the Olympia).
  • The second one is located in the swamp area, behind the gate by where the claymores are bought, o the left of the lunar lander.
  • The third one is located in the area where the sickle and speed cola are. You will take a right once you get to where the lander is and then look on the right side of the roof. it will be on the roof.
Once you activate all of the teddy bears, you will begin hearing “Abracadavre” by Elena Siegman.

Ascension Big Easter Egg

At the beginning of the round, you will hear a man say, ” Please! Help me! She’s Coming! The Mechanism must be repaired!” This little fellow is Gersch and he needs your help to escape from Samantha. So that’s what you’ll be doing in this Easter egg. It is pretty lengthy but does reward you an achievement. The whole team will also get death machines after it is completed. To do this Easter egg….
    • one player will need the Gersch Device
    • one player will need the upgraded Ray Gun
    • one player will need the upgraded Thunder Gun
    • one player will need Matryoshka Dolls
  1. This first step is very simple. Someone has to have the Gersch Device for this step. In the area where the MP5K and PhD Flopper are located, outside of the map (to the left), there is a generator that has a glowing white light. Throw the Gersch at the generator. If it is done correctly, the generator will be sucked up and you will hear the man speak again.
  2. The next step is to go to the swamp area where the lunar pad and where the claymores are bought. In the right corner under the stairs (a barricade is at the top of the stairs), you will see a big terminal which will have a bright, staticy screen. Press “Action” on the terminal and the screen will change to an illuminate sign.
  3. The next step must be completed during a monkey round. The power has to be turned on and someone needs to buy a perk for this to occur. Once the monkey round begins, four secret buttons will appear. Your team must push all four buttons at the same time. If done correctly, you should hear the mans voice again.

    • The first one is located on the wall to the left of phd Flopper
    • The second one is on the wall opposite of Juggernog
    • The third one is to the left of stamina up
    • The fourth one is on the right side of the door right by speed cola

    When all four players have found to the buttons, they must be pressed at the same time using the [Action] button. If it is done correctly, you will hear a beeping sound.

  4. The next step is fairly simple. It will be very helpful to have a slow crawler and lead it all the way to stamina up. The rocket must also be launch so that the pack-a-punch room is open. You will go to the room right before the pack-a-punch room and have all four players to stand in front of a clock on the pressure pad(the clock will read 12:00.) once you do this, the clock will start ticking. All four players must stand there for two minutes. If done correctly, an explosion similar to a nuke will be occur and the next round will begin.
  5. The next step is the hardest step of the Easter egg. It is recommended to have a few small crawlers to make it easier. If you look in the sky at this point, you will see some random letters floating in the air. You goal is to spell "LUNA." So to do this, you will be collecting them with the landers, but make sure you spell it in the right order (L-U-N-A). To start, call the lander to the spawn room.
    • To get the L- Have one player Stand on the lander in the spawn room. Have another player call the lander to the lunar pad near the claymores and Stamin-Up. You will pick up the L on the way.
    • To get the U- Have one player stand on the lander by the claymores and Stamin-Up. Have another player call the lander to the spawn room. You will pick up the U on the way.
    • To get the N- Have one player stand on the lander in the spawn room. Have another player call the lander to the lunar pad near the Speed Cola. You will pick up the N on the way.
    • To get the A- Have one player stand on the lander near Speed Cola. Have another player call lander to the lunar pad near the claymores and Stamin-Up. You will pick up the final letter, A, on the way.
  6. After collecting all of the letters, you are ready for the final step will need to go over to the location of the claymores. There should be a pod beside of it with four lights on. If you look closely on the ground, you will see a small glowing orb. You will need to throw a gersch at the orb, and then shoot the black hole with the upgraded Ray gun, upgraded Thunder gun, and throw some Matryoshka dolls in there as well. Once this is done, you will hear the mans voice again and as a thank you present, he will give all four players a 90 second Death Machine. A little after this, the screen will turn black and white and you will hear Samantha scream. The screen then goes back to color and the Easter egg is complete.

Call of the Dead (Escalation DLC)

Secret song

To play the secret song, you must find three meteors hidden in the map. When you find the meteor, hold [Action] on it to activate it. There are three different locations for each meteor.
  • The first one is located in the spawn area to the left on top of a barrel.
  • The second one is in the phd flopper room in the top left corner under a table with a clock on it.
  • The third one is on the first part of the boat on the first floor in the dining area. It will be in the right most booth.
Once all three meteors have been activated, you will hear "Not Ready to Die" by Avenged Sevenfold.

Call of the Dead Big Easter Egg

In the Call of the Dead Easter egg, your job is to save the original characters, Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo, and Richtofen. It is a pretty lengthy Easter egg, but has many great rewards, such as an achievement and the Wunderwaffe. The only weapon you must have is the VR-11. However, having a crossbow, Scavenger, and ray gun will help.

Solo Process

  1. You must have the power on to complete the first step. Go to the lighthouse room that is directly below the phd flopper room. once you go down there, you will hear the three characters asking for help. Knife the door and tell you they need a fuse. It is located in the phd flopper room and can be found on either desks in the room, or in the locker next to the window. To pick it up, press [Action] on it. Then take the fuse back down stairs and press [Action] on the fuse box which is on the right side of the door.
  2. Have an explosive weapon (crossbow, scavenger, china lake) or grenades for this step. You need to destroy four generators placed around the map. They appear as red orbs and have four different locations.
    • The first one is directly in front of the door that the characters are trapped in.
    • After destroying the first, go up the stairs and outside, don’t go up the second set of stairs, look off towards the boat, the second one will be around the icy rocks.
    • Getting to the third one, head to the bottom of the light house, past the ice slide and across the water and into the building with Stamina-Up. The orb will be outside the window.
    • The final one is on the first section of the boat from the start area. Go to the rear of the boat (where Double Tap is located) and it’s over the railing near a large rock in the sea.
    • Now go back to the door and talk to the characters (knife the door).
  3. The third step is to go to the control room (power room) and pull the levers which are right beside the steering wheel. From left to right, turn the first one once and the third one three times. Then turn the steering wheel to where the brown handle is in the five o’clock position. If done correctly you will hear a fog horn and then a submarine will come to the surface and a green light can be seen shining in the lighthouse.
  4. For the fourth step, you will need the VR-11. Lure a crawler to the bottom of the lighthouse and then shoot him with the VR-11. Instead of running to the water, he will run into the green light located in the lighthouse. You must kill him before he reaches the top of the light, so you might want a powerful gun such as a scavenger or ray gun. If done correctly, you will see the golden rod in the green light at the bottom of the lighthouse. Press [Action] to pick it up. If you don’t kill him the first time, you can try with others crawlers until you get it right.
  5. The final step is to take the golden rod back to the trapped characters. Press [Action] on the tube located on the left of the door. If done correctly, they will begin talking again. After they talk, knife the fuse box and you have completed the Easter egg. You will receive the achievement and the Wunderwaffe shortly after.

Co-op Process

  1. You must have the power on to complete the first step.   3. Find Nikolai some Vodka, which will take two players. the vodka can be in three different locations.
    • To the left of the Mystery box spawn above the phd flopper room.
    • On the ledge that divides the two parts of the boat.
    • On the first section of the boat, head up the first stair case towards the power room, it will be on the railing on the right.
    After you locate the Vadka, have one player stand where it’s located on the railing & another player standing directly below it. Knife the Vodka. The player under it should catch it. If you don’t catch it, it will respawn in another place. Once you get it, take it back to the door. To the left of it, you will see a tube. Press [Action] on the tube to give them the Vodka.
  4. The fourth step the lighthouse dials need to be set to 2746 from top to bottom. The problem is when one is changed, all dials increment by 1. The solution is:
    1. Turn the Yellow dial to 2.
    2. Turn the Blue dial until Orange is set to 7.
    3. Turn the Purple dial to 6.
    4. Turn the Orange dial until the Blue is set to 4.
    5. Turn the Yellow dial to 2.
    You should now have the (from top to bottom) dials set to 2 7 4 6. If not repeat this process.
  5. Four Morse Code Radios must be activated in the correct order. The Morse Code radios in the correct order:
    1. Radio under the Power Room, on top of a computer-like cabinet on the right side.
    2. Radio at Stamin-Up (outside the bottom of the light house, across the water), it’s on top of the barrel inside that building.
    3. Radio on the second part of the ship, by the end of the light house zipline. It is inside the train cart next to a window on the right hand side.
    4. Radio in the same room the charactors are trapped. It’s under the stairs on top of a cabnet.
  6. In the control room (where the power is)
    1. Find the 3 Levers pull the first lever once, and the third lever three times.
    2. Now turn the wheel until the brown end is at 5 o’clock. (or turn it until you can’t anymore)
    3. A submarine will surface and shine a mysterious green light that will then reflect into the lighthouse.
    • A foghorn will sound from the submarine.
  7. Around the light house you’ll find 4 Metal Grey Fog Horns that each make a unique sound.
  8. Press the Fog horns in the following order:
    1. Outside the Lighthouse near the small pool of water.
    2. Take the slide to Speed Cola, after you leave the cave head right and it will be in the corner.
    3. Outside the Lighthouse against the broken up house.
    4. Take the slide to Speed Cola, behind the big rock in the center.
  9. In the next step you’ll need the V-R11 & a weapon that deals a lot of damage (Ray gun, Scavanger) the more damage the better.
    The objective is to create a human and kill him while he’s floating up the green beam in the next step.
    1. Lead a zombie to the bottom of the lighthouse where the green beam is.
    2. Use the V-R11 and make him a human, he will run to the green beam & float up to the top of the light house.
    3. Have your team follow him up the light house shooting him with everything they’ve got until he dies & lays down in a last stand like position.
    4. Once he disapears out of the lighthouse. The golden rod will appear at the bottom of the light house in the green beam.
    5. Head back to the door and use the golden rod on the hole you used the vodka on.
  10. Use the knife on the fuse box to fix it.
  11. After the crew teleports to Paradise, you’ll be rewarded with the Wunderwaffe.

Shangri-La (Annihilation DLC)

Secret Song

Hidden Song

To play the hidden song, you must find three hidden meteors in the map. When you find them, press [Action] to activate it. The meteors are in three different locations

  • In the spawn area near the door that leads to the mine cart area.
  • Near the bridge to the left of the perk machine by the quicksand.
  • In the room with the yellow launch pad, to the left on a wooden ledge.

Once you activate all three meteors, you will begin hearing "Pareidolia" By Elaina Siegman

Shangri La Big Easter Egg

In this Easter egg, you are trying to save Brock and Gary who are trapped in Shangri-La. This is a very elaborate Easter egg requiring four players and constant time travel (Going into the past simply means to push the four buttons and cause an eclipse) . It does reward very well, however, with all 7 perks that stay with you even if you are downed and an ahievement to go along with that. You will need

  • Shrink ray (31-79 JGb215)
  • Explosive or Ray gun
  • Spike mores
  1. You will need the power on for this step. In the spawn area near the Quick Revive, you will notice that there are 4 buttons, two to the left of quick revive, and two to the right. All players must push these buttons at the same time. if done correctly, this means you have traveled to the past and your screen will do a blurry thing and it will be night time with an eclipse. You will also notice a meteor on top of the temple in the starting point. Note: The eclipse will only last for five minutes. Most steps in the easter egg require you to push these buttons and in turn go into the past.
  2. This step must be done in the past. Go Where the MPL is. On the right of the statue, you will see a button similar to the ones near Quick Revive. Press it and Brock will tell you he is trapped and needs some help. After they finish talking, magical plates will appear near the statue and near the quicksand pit by the bridge. Your objective is to match all 24 of the magical plates. This must be done with two people and is a very difficult step. the easiest way is to have one player tell the other players what symbol they have, step off of the plate, and the other player search for it. Once the matching plates are found, both player must step on the plates.If they match, the plates you are standing on will dissapear. If two players step on two plates that do not match, the plates will be rearranged. After you have matched all of them correctly, You will hear a sound and return to the present. The symbols are
    • A diamond
    • An asterisk (*)
    • Female sign
    • Circle with a dot in the middle
    • cresent moon
    • 3 dots in te shape of a triangle
    • 3 lines intersected by a longer line
    • A circle with a line cutting it in half
    • A "D"
    • 2 arcs that cross
    • A"T" with a line through it
    • A triangle
  3. This step must be done in the past. Have three players stand right at the bottom of the water slide on the pressure plate. The fourth player needs to go down the slide while holding [Action]. This will activate a switch and if done correctly, you will go back to the present.
  4. This step must be done in the past. Go to the top of the water slide and you will see a diamond on the top of it. This is where you will need your shrink ray. Shrink the diamond and then shoot it with the ray gun and it will fall down. Knife it to make it go down the waterslide and then it should go up the gyser across from the slide (if it doesn’t just knife it until it does). If done correctly, you will return to the present.
  5. It would be helpful to already have a Napalm zombie at this point. This step must be done in the past. You will need to go into the tunnel where the pressure plate is that is used to access the Pack-a-punch. To the right of the pressure plate, you will see little red wheel. Turn it four times using [Action] and you will hear the Trapped characters talking. You will also notice many gas leaks from the pressure plate to the power room. You now need to take your calm napalm zombie and lure him from the beggining of the tunnel to the power room. This is done to stop the gas leaks by catching them on fire. After that, go back to the pressure plate and you will see a lever. Press [Action] on it to use it. If done correctly, you will hear the characters talk about lava on the floor. Note: This must all be completed during the same eclipse, so you only have 5 minutes to complete it.
  6. This step must be done in the past and you will need some spike mores. you might also want to have a few crawlers to make this step easier. In the tunnel where the MP5K is located, there will be 4 holes on the walls. Your objective is to close them and it is a relatively simple process. Just have players with spike mores to place them facing the holes (You will probaby need four spike mores.) Then lure your crawlers into the tunnel to detonate them. After all of the holes are plugged, go to the bottom of the waterfall. There is a big rock in the center of the area. On the right side of the rock, you will see a brick sticking out that will say "Do not hold [Action]" When you get close to it. Hold [Action] anyways. If done correctly, You will return to the present. Note: Both steps must be completed during one eclipse.
  7. This step must be done in the past and can be in either order. Similar to step two, you will fiind 12 panels on the walls all around the map. Instead of pressing [Action] on them, you will knife them and they will light up. They are located throughout the map in most areas. Once you find all the panels, you will go over to the minecart. If you look to the left outside of the map, you will see a wooden trap-looking device. Throw any kind of explosive at it (Monkey bombs, semtex grenades, etc.) If done correctly, the players will say it was successfully completed and you will return to the present.
  8. This step must be completed in the past. You will need to go to the quicksand area and set the dials to the code which is "16, 1,3,4." To change the dial press [Action] on it until the correct number is on the top. heres how to do it
    • Set the one that is on the left as in you come from the spawn to four dots.
    • Set the one directly across the one with four to three dots.
    • Set the one to the right of the one with four dots to 16 or "[ |-"
    • Set the one dirrectly infront of the one with 16 to one dot.
    If done correctly, you will hear the characters say the code worked and it will return to the present.
  9. You will need your shrink ray for this step. This step must be done in the past. You will need to find Brocks bag of dynamite. The dynamite can be found on the focusing crystals which are located near the mine cart. To do this, you must charge the crystals by hitting the four gongs that the ringing kind of dwells or resonates. If done correctly, the crystal will glow yellow an the Treyark symbol will appear. Your next step is to shoot the crystal with the upgraded shrink gun. This will cause beams to travel through all crystals, then back to the first one and the dynamite will fall, so be ready to catch it.
  10. This step must be done in the past. You will need to upgrade your shrink ray to complete this step. Go to the quicksand area where the other focusing crystals are, they are located behind a palm tree seen from the spawn area. Again charge the crystals by hitting the gongs, and then take your upgraded shrink ray and shoot the crystal above the quicksand temple. Once this is done, you will see the beam travel through the other crystals and then see a beam of light hit the meteor in the spawn area and shrink it. It will then fall into the temple.
  11. This step must be done in the past. Access the Pack-a-punch machine and go to the wall where the Pack-a-punch is usually located. Brock will tell you that he can blow up the wall with the dynamite you got from step nine. After he tells you this, you will be washed off from the temple, so you will need to access the Pack-a-punch again. This time, go to the wall with the dynamite and hold [Action] on it until the dynamite disappears. Step back from the wall and it will explode. Once the wall is gone, walk inside and pick up the stone using [Action]. The player that picks up the stone will be given all seven perks permanantly in the game, even if downed, and every player will get the "Time Travel will Tell" achivement. Note: This can be performed 4 times so every player can get the focusing stone and therefor get the 7 permanant perks.
